Whenever I see a publication I helped create, I pick it up and smile.
I get such a thrill when I see my name in print. I don’t care how little the acknowledgment is. Illustration, contributing writer or researcher, editing, layout… as soon as I see my name in a book for any reason, I’m happy. Long after I’m gone, some student will write MY name in the bibliography of his research paper.
Working on another dream-catcher. This one will have double borders and a good 9” of fringe. Probably go for about $120-$150 when it’s done.
My fingers hurt. Here’s to $2.00 an hour!
Doing some repair work on this one. It’s time consuming and only pays about $3.00 an hour, but it’s so pretty.
Work in progress. 9 hours and counting. Should go for $40 when it’s done.
